How we charge

• Fees work both on a project basis or, where relevant, on an annual retainer
• In either case, our fees are fixed in advance and based on an estimate of the days involved in achieving agreed objectives.  Once negotiated there are no extras, we work to the project rather than to the time
• Expenses are estimated in advance and charged at cost.  They include a percentage of telephone and postage costs, as well as a share in the cost of our newspaper/magazine subscriptions.  In addition, we use our experience to anticipate specific costs related to each project such as travel, entertaining, photography, etc
• Both in our work and in our fee structure, we believe in transparency
